I have been too sick to publish here but today I got nothing at Bills. Got Aces Cracked at Bills and got wilson to pay me back and buy oysters it was a good way to end the year.

My cold seems to be susiding somewhat anyway

I played the freeroll tonight and made it to 500/1000$blinds I had big slick got beaten by a pair of sevens.

Norhing at beat the boss and nothing this AM. I amaparently getting sinus COLD I am stopped up have the sniffles especially in left nostril. All my joints hurt and I may have a lowgrade fever. I took two asprins.

I hung out at the strip all day went to Mirage got tournament info and played OSheas and played a while winning 2$ in one and a half hours . A very poor hourly wage. I played and made the Chope at the Flamingo last night making 85 bucks. went to bed dead tired at eleven PM.

Cracked since IP has no more pay for kings this may be a sign of an ever increasing fossilized time. There is no more Wed night freeroll at flimingo instead a thursday freeroll in the AM at O'Sheas.

At the Flamingo today I got to the next to last table went in with tens and lost to a wheel George Robinson had so I went a whole week without a freeroll win . thats the worst I have done at freerolls in a long time. I knocked out some gal they call Victoria from Virginnia beech Va who thinkd she is the best player in the World. she is in town to try towin a seat to the Main ! I also knocked her out of Beat the Bosses.

Bike to IP and day before yesterday I not only got nothing at aces and kings but got word from Ryan Mcneely that kings won't be paid out any more. I busted out of the freerol at 1k 2k level yesterday tuesday and today Wed I got eliminated with king Queen at the 200/400 level losing to three threes and an ace.

Friday was the ideal day

I got four of a kind (4's) to crack aces and kings (Erwins and Tyrones) and won 101$ before the freeroll where I choped for 90$ really good.

Wednesday some newbie made me mad

Oh well thats poker I did not get aces or Kings. Did not even see them. I tried to put a desk together for Beth with Pegs help but the plans were not engineered well. anyway I only played the IP and nothing else. I took off thursday today for some rest got my cartheft thing done on the phone with Diane Schuler. I thinnk I can get away without a title.

This whole week has been a bust for me

Kings twice at IP offset by losses and nothing at Bills really. I have been to the freerolls going out early twice and going to the last table tonight losing with king queen to ace ten no one wanted to chop I was the only local.

Freeroll Ilost to Ben the Madd Irannian he had aces I had ace ten suited blinds were 400 ; 800 and I got a ten but that was it over finnis for mewednesday night and today I got Kings cracked at IP. Wil and mitch and I went to genseg to eat it was fun comped food tastes better.

Sunday nothing I did not play Tom helped me get on stars Poker Stars that is scheech they want everything. Monday I got Aces but only won 28$ and today or yesterday I got nothing. I did go play at Fitzgeralds and had a fried twinkey and oreo cookies ,,,,sigh.

well at least I made the chop yesterday or I made 95$ this week Tom stayed with me it was wierd he bought me a bike. I got Aces and kings and four of a kind. I promice myself I will try to kee this blog up more like before with daily entrys or at least try to. than one hour. Trips over trips twice. Also lost forty at bills. I won at the Flamingo Freeroll for 95$ after a tip ended up around 20 to the good. That was cool at the Flamingo because it was five in a row to cho at for me.

but only finnished seven bucks ahead. At Bills I also got Aces with a sprited group of folks. I ended the day up around 77$ which is good. I have won around 500 here lately.

Weekend did not play much just went to

Diamond lounge and ate some play on saturday at Osheas. Monday I made the money at the freeroll. Monday I also got nothing cracked. Tuesday I got aces and kings cracked but only ended up with 105$ from it all.Went to Beth Bentley and Jack Sampsons wedding in fact I gave away the bride.Wore a tux the whole shot. Yuck remind me not to do that any more. Wednesday got kings cracked at Osheas after nothing at bills and IP. Busy day I I got in on the freeroll chop monday for 95$ and three in a row in the money. Tonight I was chip leader at theChop at the last table for 160$ Ithats four in arow I am on a good run at the freerolls I really like it too.:))

tuesday at IP igot aces cracked once and kings twice then played Bills and got nothing then the tournament and finnished near the bubble. Wednesday I got nothing all day not IP not Osheas and busted out of the Flimgo tourny really early.

Today at Osheas for 89$. It is sunday so Osheas of the Flimingo is the only place for me to play. I was having a bad day and turned it around in two hands kings full of aces and for queens. Cool stuff Hugh.

At the IP I got aces cracked and at bills I gotaces and kings cracked. We also had lunch at RIO wilson and his friend cory I think anyway I am still stuffed 8 hours later. Played at Osheas and freerolled the Flimingo and went out with king queen against sevens the sevens held.

Friday did not play went to VA clinic endoscopy I have a Hiatal Hernia it does not hurt. Saturday I got no aces or kings but four of a kind Jacks. kelly got both sixes and jacks tto top me one at IP one at Osheas. at the IP as of Thursday no more "bad Beats".

At the IP and tenth in the freerool at the Flimingo as well as playing Harrahs' Thursday I got nothing at IP lost at Harrahs' 4 bucks that is and made the 30$. I also played and lost at Osheas' and stuffed myself at at Flavors at Harrahs.

IP was terrible. I then went to Harrahs to get three hours layed 1-2 lim played a couple of idiots young guys won 112$ in two hands to end the three hours very cool:)

Bad beat Jackpot I got four nines the winner got four sevens he got 2500$ I got 1000$ it was a fun thing the rest of the table the other eight got 187.50$ each. I also got aces cracked also a great day thursday. No Bills layed Harrahs offer for thirty bucks. Friday thats today I got Aces at Bills playd Harrahs and lost 120$ at no limit bad choice tens do not beat three queens even if there are three of them. Tom the Pro and I like to joke play on computers and observe folks pllaying poker. Most of all we make each other laugh things that do not intertain most adults seem to make both of us crack up. I seem to nat be very good at evaluationg my poker play and Tom likes to point out that I am somewhat forgetful. Actually I am very forgetful and if someone asks me how I am doing I usually say I am not doing so well. Tom points out to people that I have a scewed view of reality and he says that if I am given inquary as to how I am doing I will say not bad LATELY so now every time possible the joke is that that has or has not happened frequently LATELY! It cracks me up and Tom too it would not be an understatement to say that others would judge our view of humor as preverted. Well thats the way things are LATELY:)

I had an interesting day at IP First of all there was this forigner in the ten seat that not only could not speak english but also was a wierd poker player. He cost me cracked aces but I cracked his kings if he had not bet we both would have been cracked he had kings me the aces. Anyway I did get aces cracked by Jeff the knthead no less. I also skiped Bills for the Harrahs offer. A sure 30$ I also made the 86$ today so things get different but remain similar.

Oh well. one of our regulars at Bills' has died. It was Bob Walters an old guy like me. He and I used to joke about whom would die first. He was the one who always said "Pass the Sherbert to Herbert" I am certain your aware of whom it was. He had survived kidney cancer the VA took out hid left kidney six years ago or so. WE occasionally ate together in the "Award Winning Victorian Room" where he liked the Chinese. He confided to me that he had smoked too much "pot" during his life and could not walk far without a rest because of it. We were infromed by a friend of his who visited Bills today and asked when the last time he had come there was? I couldn't remember when I saw him last? I was just used to him being around. I will miss him. I suppose we all will.

At the IP its the weekend play. I had to emergency help Beth and Jack due to Jacks Illness (vestibulites)I was needed to help and did so on both Friday and Sat. Saturday yielded nothing . Sunday I got aces cracked twice and got kings once not cracked though. so I won around 136$:)

Today was special at the IP

I got to the IP early and the 2-4 game started early and even before it started I got aces! They held up bringing my initial 20$ buy-in to a healthy 63$. Well about 8:45 I got aces again and a russian turist two seats to my left got jacks and kings to crack me. I tiped ten bucks. three hands later after a dealer change I got kings Beaten by the same kind lady with a flush. She is beginning to be a fovorite of mine even though she is my age and overweight. Just as time was about to run out for the promotion, I got kings again and once again the Russian lady beat them with a pair of aces thats right Aces once and Kings twice. I cashed out 154$ to the positive a good days at 2-4 Aces and Kings for anyone! nI am beginning to like playing poker again.

After a two day break from poker trying to get my vehicle fixed. I went to Bills from 11 until 2PM. I along with another tourist got aces in the same hand obviously we split the pot.

Poker Sunday no Aces again

Well the Odyssey of me and my truck started Sunday with a routine drive to Harrahs' parking garage. I was making my pilgrimage to the Imperial Palace to play "Aces and Kings Cracked" in poker. As most of the "Advantage Players" know the Casinos we play in vary from month to month according to the Promotional offers given by the various strip casinos competing for the locals business. Last month we all played Ballys for 200$ aces but this month there its only 100$ for aces only so we all migrate to the old standby the IP from 8:00AM until 11:00AM (100$ for Aces and 50$ Kings) then were off to Bills except on the weekends when Bills' does not offer the same deal from 11AM until 2PM as it does on weekdays. Oh Yeah back to my truck well I parked there Sunday as usual and went to the IPA next to Harrahs actually they are adjoined twins. When I got don I went to go home the truck started and down the ramp I went I always park on top because the best parking spaces are there almost always and it was Independence weekend and I was up top. on about level 4 the truck engine stopped I tried to restart but nothing but grinding starter noises. I pulled in to a parking space on level one. I cranked and cranked and nothing happened no starting it smelled like it was flooded. I would learn later it was. So I went back in to the casino and played Video Poker for nickles five bucks worth of Deuces Wild and 45 minutes later I tried again to get it to crank. "Nothing" it smelled flooded again so I went inside to get out of the 105 Degree heat and played some more VP after an hour and fifteen minutes and another five bucks of nickle Deuces Wild. I tried again and again nothing. So I walked home In the heat it was really hot and no wind like usual here. During the 40 minutes I had time to formulate a plan for Monday and I did. Monday I got up at six and once again this time in the cool 78 degree breezy morning I walked back to Harrahs and tried to start the truck again. I got there and nothing so I called AAA using the card I am happy I had and have never that I can remember used before. The gal on the phone said help would be there in one hour,,,Yeah Sure it will. Two hours later the AAA tow truck showed up and took me to the repair shop where I had had a belt replaced before and found them to be reasonable and good at stuff a guy from Missouri is the owner and is my age approximately. Well after a ride home and a few hours he called me back saying it would cost me 700$ plus for a completely new ignition system. Gulp!!!!

IP for the week-end

I got nothing on Saturday even though I won 30$. On Sunday I got aces but not cracked. and I won 15$.

Well casinos here in LV go fishing for customers and if the bait is good enough they get the attention of the sharks. When we smell blood in the water from the casinos chum we come to feed. Well 200$ for pocket aces to be cracked with only 20$ in the middle the good old boys will show up to play. This is a 3-6 limit game one can lose for weeks as I showed. Tomorrow and for the next month Ballys will only give only 100$ for aces and the sharks will be out hunting better chum there are lots of casinos competing here. Oh yeah I got aces crackes today for 200$ I actually had them twice once they won. OH well thats life in the green felt jungle.

I like Tom hes a nice youngster and good player and Super Nova On pokerstars. yesterday at Bills two of the regulars and a bunch of wierdo tourists.AKA Ploppies played I won money from kings just by calling this youngster was from outer space with his play wierd.Today I wonagain same story. Kelly and I played together and although Don Smith was at the other table kell and I joked about his blow-ups waiting for one it did not happen. I went to Ocallahan and got antibiotics and pain stuff. OH Well,,,

The day was totally unremarkable until 11:58 at which time I got my aces cracked by two pair Jacks and tens, of a woman next to me on fifth chair who had no idea what she had done. Which about put me even especially since I loaned Joe Hayes enough to play at Bills. Where incidently I got Kings at the next to last hand and ofcourse they won.

I had some personell stuff to do at the VA ended up at mike O'Callahans place OH well. I lost 50$ at Ballys no Aces again.

But I got a strait flush winning 387$ it was wonderful! I was delt 8,7 Diamonds and on the river when the five came I was elated and cool with the other players in the hand just checking it down, Very Cool Loved it. I know I am rarly emotional today I was.

Playing wednesday at Ballys

Wednesday and thursday I got nothing at Ballys. Except a sore leg from a fall on the way back from Bills today. Wednesday at Bills I got kings at the last moment. Today I got nothing anywhere. With the exception of a whopper at Osheas. OK blog I am not feeling like typing at the moment.

Ballys again I got nothing

I park on the fourth story of Bills parking lot its located center strip and the most accessable plus its easy and free. From there its an easy walk to Balys for The Aces for 200 no Kings just aces well its the best deal LV is a fluid place and offers like Osheas/Flamingo's aces and kings come and go with the coming of the world series and the going of the month this month its 50$ for aces only between 8AM and 4PM so I am no longer haunting that area of the strip in the area. As a Strip Rat one must adjust to new holes when the food sourse dies out in one spot presto like the rest I migrate to another banquit to feast at. Strip survival at Strip Poker so to speak.
I went all of yesterday and never saw the aces at Bally's Sonny was back raising his own kind of mischief. I actually ran out of 100$ at the last of the session at Ballys and left five minutes early something I very rarely do. I walked over to bills had a hotdog yeah I know not so hot of diatery food but I was starving. At Bills there was just Wilsom and I and a table full of tourists and wierdos and nothing much happened until the last two hands. on the next to the last hand I got kings and I was in seat two and the guy unbeknonst to me got aces . Five started the hand and the guy in seventh seat kept raising with two pair. I kept calling of course and so did the guy next to me in three seat I started to suspect he also had kings and the guy in seven kept on raising two bucks on the turn and river with his two pairs. At the showdown the pair of sevens on the board and a pair of kings for the guy in seven were not good enough to beat the guy in three seat. He had Aces beating my king to win the meager pot and I yealled Kings cracked and got the 45$ and five for the dealer back. Three seat won a meager pot and the seven seat lost, so sorry tourist ( he should learn to play better) welcome to Vegas. Got the Aces Cracked at Ballys again

Today I really did OK at Ballys I held my own in the three six game only making one bad fold when I would have gotten a jack high strait on the River. Go figure Gary the leather Hat two bet me out of it raising more than I wanted to risk on a draw. Overall with the Aces I made 170$ a realy good day.

On Thursday when I got to work it was easy to see the LVPD was bored they were chasing the hookers,,,

The hookers have a rough time of it in LV walking all the time in those really high heels up and down LV Blvd. that must be hell. Guys let me let you in on a secrete the hookers are having a rough time of it in this recesssion. They are hustling harder giving good deals even two for one I see thm in pairs a lot now. They really just want to rest their feet when you get them in bed you may thing those are moans of ectacy but really those are moans and crys of relief to be off their feet for a while. Osheas had its last Beat the Boss Freeroll (until after the world series at least) I talked into my digital audio recorder new age speak for dictaphone. IU recorded a hand by hand card by card story of how I lost all the way up to and including me having three jacks only to lose to a flush. I got knocked out fairly early. Friday I cashed in the freeroll the lat or so I am told so this strip rat will be looking for another hole to play in.I played at Bills another day of nothing even seen even though I won thirty dolars just playing my anylization of hands and when to play and not to is getting better I think. I must try to stay with it. I am beginning to really know the nuts when I have it also I make silly mistakes sometimes. Saturday at Ballys there was a controversy over a dealers move in a 9000plus$ Royal flush which I was unfortunately in the middle of. BUT I got Aces Crackedafter all these times,,,A good thing.I also went to the RIO to the WSOP I could not find the sit and goes. but I saw Phil and Eric and Habeeb or freddy and Chris play that was fun poker nevaerna.

Another unsuccessful day,,,

I did not again get any bonus hands today it was another day of derth.I got to Osheas early 6:40 and started the game suprising it was not at all busy with the table short handd a lot of the time. Bills was the same with nothing really happening and only seeing aces cracked twice once it was Wilson at the last of the promotionsl time around 2:00PM.

Tuesday I had stuff to do so I only played Osheas for 45 minutes.

I only played Bills until one I got aces not cracked (nut flush) I got kings they won eeeeaks I am not doing well at poker lately. I might go out and card count and win some money at least Blackjack is predictable in a math sort of way.

Thursday its been a while...18 times nothing at Ballys

I know its been a few days I was lazy so shoot me. thursday was bad at Osheas I have not had the poker gods on my side lately. Mike from Chi Town got a Royal Flush in spades for 600 plus at Osheas and also got kings cracked in the same day for 650 plus bucks. I did not see aces or kings at all so zilch for today. On Friday I went to the Flimingo friday free-roll and to start off I got three threes and won around six hundred . Eventually my ace queen did not hod up against a pair of jacks as the blinds reached four hundred and eight hundred and I got short stacked and I was eliminated.Saturday I went to Ballys at its new time 9AM for my sixteenth time to attempt to crack aces wit no success even though I saw them I did not get them cracked.Wilson as usual could not get them cracked and Larry the drinker a tennis teacher in tha army hemad corprall teaching aofficers how to play got them twice without getting them cracked. Ballys was croweded more than I ever remember before absolutly crammed with people and more poker tables in action than ever before.Free food tastes better a basic Vegas axiom always have your card handy and use it to get to eat for nothing no wonder people are so overweight here.Sunday wasthe same I never saw thw aces and wilson did not come to Ballys. Wilsons absence was easily explained by the fact he and I played at 2AM tournament at Planet Hollywood and I got to the next to last table and wilson got to the final table to finnish ninth, Oh Well we tried laughinly it was dominated by good players. You know your a local when the porn snapper guys do not offer you the gals pictures for you to call and get ripped off. Wilson and I hoped there would be easy picking at PH but that was not the case and ended in a disaster for the both of us. I kept getting the Gay waiter hand a queen with athree its a bad deal. My last hand of the tournament I had queen jack and had nothing left after the ante and blind so went in with queen jack and got called with ace nine and an ace showed up on the turn after a queen on the flop false hope cracked. Ballys sunday I got nothing and the same happened at Osheas and Bills on Monday I am not doing well at all lately. Include in that that I hurt my right foot and am linping around. The sore foot is a bad deal.

I got kings Cracked,,,

Today was sort of unremarkabe I started at Osheas and ended at Bills. At Bills' a funny thing happened when Grumpy Don went all in after the flop with three queens he had pocket queens only to be called by a Ploppy (aka unskilled gambler) who had a pair of jacks preflop and three jacks after the flop. Then on the turn an eight of hearts and on the river another jack the Ploppy from alabamma got for jacks which won. It also sent Don on tilt like never before.

I finally got Aces Cracked today after weeks,,,

Sorry Blog I haven't felt like reporting the last few days.Monday I got aces twice and did not get them cracked.Itwas a record breaking hot day for May here the last two days 101 and 102 really hot.On Monday it was two guys from Cannada and a guy from Alabama and a gal frow who knows who had no idea how to play and all the savy players who got good cards won. Me with a not flush and George with a full house. The guy from Ala got aces cracked and gave it all back to us.Today Tuesday I got my aces cracked finally Joe did it with Broadway. Well maybe blog I will do better for you soon.

Vegas tidbits and tips.....

For getting around Vegas midstrip where I hang out with the other strip rats. Paring mid strip is easily accomplished by using Harrahs parking lot accessable from Koval to harrahs and Venetian drive then park at harrahs. enter the back negotiating the speedbumps and here is a helpful tidbit. Park at the top of the lot its the seventh floor reasons being there are always parking spots on the top floor and easy access to the elevators which actualy take you to either Harrahs or the Imperial Palace and frm this vantage point it is easy access to the best of the strip. TI, Mariage,and Ceasars on the west side and Bills, Flimingo, Margaretaville, Osheas, IP and Harrahs on the East side. Tonight I was off to the Mirage to play a sit and go so I made my way through Harrahs to cross the strip to the Mirage to play. As I went through Harrahs there was a couple a nice looking 20 something gal and guy both wearing TUTU's blue in color. Note to the world if your male with knock knees and harry legs you should not wear a TUTU in Harrahs he was causiing quite a stir wich I supposed whas his intention. His appearance almost made me regurgitate. I started the sit and go and got Aces around the third hand I raised to three hundred to try to drag some players along and got two others to bite for three and the second raised me three hundred and I went all in and the two others followed and I won and knocked them out when an ace came on the turn giving me chip lead. the guy who eventually won in the seven seat was getting good cards and played well I knocked out the early field and he knocked out the late field getting a chip lead from me. I made tow maistakes one when I folded and ace six of spades after a nothing flop only to have an ace come on the river and a pair of nines win. The other bad hand came when I had king queen and the guy in seven raised me all-in I should have called but another guy did only to be beaten by a pair of eights and a queen come on the river ,,,,Go Figure. Well at the last I was the only one left after I took out a kid with just a few hundred left with a pair of tens to beat his sixes another ten came and it was over for the kid in the three seat. then I went all in with Ace duce suited only to loose to chip leader with for five of diamonds when he got a strait. Oh well I wonn 175 after a five buck tip to the dealers.

12 times at Ballys' and no Aces Cracked bummer...

Wilson is one ahead of me and has never seen the Aces. I saw the aces today and thought that they might get cracked but it did not happen again. Oh well maybe tommorrow got to keep trying. Liem normally a dealer was at the table with his wife the Bingo Pro I had a good time seeing and playing with Liem and his wife.

I got in the top nine in the free-roll and won 227$ TODAY....

I played an hour and a few at Osheas and then discovered my missing phone that bothered me. I had my reciept and got it straitened out befor four PM. when I wemt to the Flamingo I was bothered by my missing phone and missed a few hands looking for it. I got some good hands including aces and went all-in early and had to show thi gave me a lot of table respect and helped me when I bluffed or simi bluffed with a pair of nines. I had a lot of chips and a guy off the button with an equal amount of chips came after me with a pair of queens in my hand and I bet four thousand and he raised me six a lot of his stack and I went all in and he folded. then I won with ace King and in the end I agreed to chop the chip leader. I like free-rolls and sometimes I play good tourny cards. Of course there are those other times when I do not ploay so well. My cold makes me tired still and frustrated.

Pet peave joggers outside Osheas early in the morning,,,,

They are not smiling as they jog if your going to jog to stay in shape at least smile as you run.Yes it is just a 30$ buy in at Osheas and yes we all play for the Aces and Kings between eight and eleven AM and for the time for the freeroll and high hands the rest of the time. I am not sure why I seem to get hung up in playing hands I should not early every morning and invariably lose that sucks I should quit and just play when I know I have the nuts. I still did not get aces there and kings either. I did get both at Bills a spectacular hand with aces in my pocket only to flotp another ace. well I finally beat three kings with my three Aces,,, Oh well it would have been better if the guy with kings was not Marty. Oh well freeroll at the Flamingo tomorrow.I did get kings cracked maybe things will improve.

I feel a bit better for a change

Perhaps this cold is losing finnaly to my immune system,, a good thing. Well Well I saw kings finnaly at Osheas but not cracked yesterday. Today the same at Osheas but at Bills I got kings cracked but no aces. I screwed up playing the kings and did not win as much as I could my mistake my misjudgement. I took Crispy creams and was quite the hit with the players and dealers. Hopefully Blog I will do better heal and spend some better time trying to improve you.

Yesterday marked the 11th time at Ballys without gitting aces cracked in fact I did not see the aces

Wilson finnally saw them after ten or so times but also not cracked. I also had a terrigle day losing around 200 bucks and lots of frustration bad beats galore and today was the same Osheas started at 6:15 and I got no aces or kings and even though there was a tremendously weak Lag-fish at the table I got nothing to clean him. My cold is still making me ultra weak and it is getting me down. Scheech Blog I guess I will always complain to ya,,,,,

My cold will not go away I am about to give up,,

Today was wierd like I said my cold is still bringing me down. I was woken up by Wilson wanting a ride to Ballys' for week-end "Aces". I picked him up and we got there to meet Sonny who was mad at Larry for drinking. Mike who was normal.I was sick and got the aces early only to have them hold up and win even though this Asian woman who never saw two cards she did not like dispite her constant loses (I began to call her ATM) she kept raising so it was a nice pot but not the 200$ I wanted. Mike left early as did Sonny because of Larrys drinkinng Wilson was drinking Blue Hawaiiens and I drank Pepsi or Coke I cannot tell the difference.Wilson went another weekend as did I without getting aces Cracked in fact he did not seee the Aces again. That must be some sort of record. Then Color me stupid I thought it was the day for the Horse handicapping contest at the Cannery. Actually the Cannery contest is tommorrow. Steve a dealer at Osheas the guy who invited me was there anyway and I lost eighty dollars on his tips. Oh well two weekends ago I won some so I am not disappointed. I cannot handicap the horses at all I do not pretend that I can I admit I know nothing. So I came home in midafternoon and went to sleep trying to get rid of thes stinking cold. I think this cold is the worst version of myself and I try to overcome it with asprin and some dietary changes but it does no good. Note to self Las Vegas is a lousey place to try to eat healthy and have a healthy lifestyle its the vacation fling induldge your vises mentallity the makes Vegas successful and the people here so overweight. Forget good health this is sin city lets sin. Hell the Law and the goverment wants to be ones Nanny anyway no Smack,Coke,pot and DWI citations for being drunk but food thats ok to do until one has heart problems and dies of colesteral overload an excrutiating death. Since I don't do drugs I guess I am unqualified to really comment. How come smoking is still leagle then? Mores folkways and the Law on a pro-gamblers Blog wow I am sick with a cold. Perhaps this is not just a cold but the Swine Flu and I only have a few days to live. Naahh no such luck.

well I played well in the free-roll but failed to win going all in with queens and losing to Kings oh well if I had it to do over I would still do the same thing. I still have a cold and will try to edit this to tell how Ilost 50$ back at Osheas 1-5 spread limit game later.

Another day with no Aces Cracked I did get them for a change

This cold continues to dibilitate me and sap my strength. Osheas and Bills went off without getting Aces cracked I did have a nice time with chicago Mike we sat nest to each other at both casinos and joked as we played. Werll I am looking forward to the day when Ifell better and get serious about Blogging.

Today was more like what I precieve as normal except for losing,,,

I got up at ten of six and walked in and sat down at Osheas' at around a quarter till seven . I got the Aces early befor the promotion started and would of won 50$ for them had they been cracked but my betting scared everyone off. At eight the regular price of 100$ for aces started and of course I never got them. The ffer at Osheas' goes from eight until eleven AM weekdays. All the cool regulars were there but today there was little action Aces went to Ted Bundy and Wilson got the Kings. I did not play at Bills today as I went to Crecent school to practice for tomorrows audition for Ceasars I hope I do well. This cold is so dibilitating I do not feel like typing really and will try to do better for the Blog if and when I recover,,,hopefully soon.

Ballys' once again a lose I think that makes nine ,,,

Well I picked up Wilson we went to Ballys that makes nine times for him without seeing Aces at all there and nine for me without getting them Cracked. Sonny and Larry two guys that are locals and normally play there with us on the week-end had different results. Larry got nothing for the second day but Larry got aces Cracked twice and collected 400$ much to Larrys schigrin. I got the Aces Larrys was in the hand he ended up with tens and I of course won Yuck.Oh well I still hate this cold. I would prefer to feel a bit better but I have badly stopped up sinuses and a sore throat ( I hope this is not Swine Flu if it is its more like a cold than the flu) I hate this. Oh well Blog I will be back. Well for aces at Ballys there is next week-end for you Blog its goodnight I need to nurse myself.

Well dispite my illness

I managed to cash for 217$ in the Friday Free=roll at the Flamingo tournament getting in the last nine. I think I had the distinction of having the smallest stack at the time of the Chop. I was forceed in with my last chip and rivered a strait. and with a pair of fours turned trips once. Once I had an ace four against a pair of queens and floped another ace. I was rediculously fortunate to have math working for me. Today I took a newbie to play Bally's and the nubie was fortunate enough to get Aces Cracked for 200$. Once again for the eighth or ninth time I did not get them cracked and in fact did not get them at all. Thats life in the Green Felt Jungle ,,,,,,Blog.

My cold symptoms continue I did get a new couch

I had to buy a new couch today as the management here as the new accountability transition appartments saw fit. I am still trying to figure out how to publish the players profiles on here as well as the Aces Cracked explanation. I will try to do so soon! I am fighting this cold mostly with asprin and effort to ignore its existance. However every so often I have a coughing fit and throw up what appears t be White Blood Cell clots of flem and mucus, its anoying as well as not pretty. I sincerely hope that I can just keep going and do nt go down or it does not turn into this Swine flew thing thats come up from mexico and is deadly to some. Yuck thats not the way I want to die at all,,,

...But I did not get them Cracked! Idiots at the table Lag Fish and they were miraculously winning on the river. All in all a bad scene. Well I have a cold the symtoms full blown very uncomfortable and I have a commitment at Binnions about dealing tommorrow. I also do not feel like pounding on this keyboard with nasal drip down out of my nose so I will tap the keys and try to catch up another time. My streak of getting Aces now and winning and never getting Cracked continues.

Well I got the Aces at last once at Ballys' once at Tresure Island once at the Mirage and once at the EC but they were never beaten I am to tired to Blog tonight . See ya soon computer.

I have been down so long its beginning to look like up to me

Well once again I defy mathamatical probilitys and do not get Aces or Kings at O'Sheas from 7AM to before nine when I went to the Flamingo for the Free Roll which actually costs five bucks for the extra 1000 tournament bucks the five goes to the dealers so it's OK. I actually played OK in the FR but lost in the small blind when the blinds had reached 500 and 1000 I had Queen Ten of Diamonds I called all in with around 3200$ bucks in chips and the BB called with King seven offsuit and on the flop here comes the king so I was out around seventeenth. At Bills we had two maniac tourists that were novice players and played like Donks and seemed to lose to everyone even me some I broke even. No sign of Aces or Kings so my streak continues. Well there is always Ballys' tommorrow.

I am not at all superstitious but this losing streak is getting boring

I am not a supertitious gambler many are some to the point of being rediculous. I am really boring purely mathamatical to my approach to gambling I have no lucky rabbits feet or things I do to try and win. I know one guy thats so hung up on good luck stuff that if the lights are all green when he is driving to the strip in the morning he is sure to win ?? or so he says. I am not at all like that there is the math and thats it. I am basically scientific and boring I like to laugh at my stiff mater of fact demeanor but I really know I am drop dead boring.
Oh well as stated I lost again no aces at O'Sheas even though I was there before Jenn the grave floor supervisor got the game open. The Colonel, Mike two times, Wilson, and Grumpy Don, all showed up to start the game. I played like a rock as always losing eight dollars even though I was up 25$ at one point I had a "Bad beat" and got rivered for an overall lose.I am playing well getting all the normal stuff with one slight exceptional exception one should recieve a pair of aces once in every 220 hands the same goes for kings yet for the last 90 hours of play I have seemingly overcompensated for all that time when I thought my rate of recieval was way above average. Well over the last three weeks those exceptional time flew out the window rudely bringing my statistics to normal in a very frustrating few weeks of poker. At eleven when the promotion was over at O'Sheas and the group migrated to Bill's I continued to get nothing losing another 22$. At Bill's unlike O'Sheas one need not have 20$ in the pot to win but only 10$ and instead of 1 to Five spread limit it is fifty cents and one dollar no limit so tactics are ajusted as well as playing styles. For instance it is stupid to buy in at Bill's for more than 20$ because if you do and you get the Aces or Kings and someone notices and has you beaten with a better hand for instance two pair or trips they will gleefully fine you to the Max buy putting you all in and taking all your chips. For instance lets say one wins a good pot and gets 30$ in chips and gets the Kings and gets caught by someone with lets say 28$ the person with trips for instance realizes you have the kings or Aces and that she has you beaten and goes all-in takes all 28 from you then gets paid the 50$ for the aces you lost more than the minimum buy in which is 20$ so you lost an extra eight bucks. So the promotion promotes bad poker play in that you should play short stacked (not that that is not a good idea sometimes) so you get the full profit of the reward for getting "Cracked" Tactics for playing "Aces and Kings" can change from Casino to Casino depending on the rules and they are careful to have different rules in the different casinos to try to cover all the basis and draw a certain "niche" of interest from people. That interest is wraped around the local poker players mental attitudes! Gosh isn't Las Vegas Great??? Oh well I am out of time and need to get into some reading I have been wanting to do. Tommorrow is the Friday "Freeroll" Tournament that one qulaifies buy playing Harrahs properties making The Flimingo and O'Sheas virtual equvilents even though the games rules differ. My goal for tommorrow as always is to play well.

Well things are back to normal and I continue to lose

I got up early for no special reason went to 7/11 got a sweetroll and a Pepsi and went to O'sheas and at 7 the table was full excepting the seat I occupied. These guys are getting up early lately. High hands pay double until eight when Aces and Kings pay double until 11 AM. Most of the regulars were there they wanted to know where I had been and I jokenly warrded off the question by asking back is attendence mandatory? Well I played until 11 and got neither aces or kings and managed to lose 14$. When I had parked earlier at Bill's I had put down my players card to insure a seat for 11Am for "Aces and Kings" there so I walked in sat down bought in and was in action in no time just in time to get nothing again! Well I got nothing until 20 miniutes before the offer was over at 2PM when I got kings four people were in on the hand two regulars and a tourist. Only ten bucks need be in the pot unlike O'sheas where one needs 20$ and I just played along and just on my luck on the river here comes another King and I won the hand won a 22$ pot . I groaned for losing this promotion promotes bad poker playing I an disappointed when I win. Oh well perhaps tomorrow?

Today I did nothing normal...

Oh well days like this come along for me infrequently I did things I never normally do I went to the Golden Nuget and Golden gate for shrimp cocktail ,, Hmmm Yummy stuff but I did not play poker all day so this was an unusual day for me. Well the last few days or should I say days now since I started this Blog I have been doing unusual stuff. Thats wierd because the pourpose of this blog was to report on the Humm drum life of a poker player on the LV Strip. Note to self make tomorrow normal go back to nortmal and play Poker all day. OK more tomorrow...

I lose at Ballys' Aces again.

For the eighth frustrating time I lose again at Ballys' No aces seen much less Cracked andI lost money 89$ at least yesterday I won enough to say I was even there now I am a very distraught loser. Well at least I am a statistacle anomaly that is at least remarkable. S?>@.

Saturday "Aces Cracked at Bally's

For the fourth weekend and seventh time I failed to get "Aces Cracked" at Ballys. I do Ballys on Sat. and Sun. mornings because O'Sheas and Bills do not have the offer on the weekends. That place is getting ugly. They actually have "The Price is Right TV Show" revival tapings there it is hard and expensive to get tickets and requires a long amount of time in line to get tickets, and dressed like a vegatable,to get in. I did win 22 bucks Yeah big deal. I will explain "Aces Cracked " here on the blog to try to finally understand what is going on to myself. Well thats in the future and something I can look forward to. Maybe or Maybe not.

Well here it is almost midnight and I stayed out and played poker and lost 20 bucks. Scheech I hategetting beat on the River oh well its been a wierd weak what a time to start this blog I need sleep now I will try to get more done tomorrow??

This morning was overcast, windy, and cool as the clouds slowly deminished it warmed and became another perfect day here in the sand box. Like I said things are wierd as I work on another project and the schedule I have had for months is inturupted by another personal project I am working on. I hope Murphy's law does not catch up with me as it has had a habit of doing in the pastPerhaps something cool will work out Tax day is gone at least well for most it is. I really hope that Murphy does not turn out to be an optomist. That has happend berfore its' disasterous.

Its a cloudy grey day here and I am late getting started have some personal stuff to do today. Perhaps I will get back to you all later.
